Giving a plant-based diet a go?

If you’re giving Meat Free Mondays a go, head to 28°-50° Wine Bar and Kitchen and try the delicious butternut squash with kale, freekeh & spiced pumpkin velouté. They’ve even got some vegan options of their extensive wine list. Italian favourite Dalla Terra has also added some vegan wines so you’ve got plenty of choice.

Or, if you’re going all out with Veganuary, Bill’s has an entire menu of plant-based options to satisfy all of your cravings. From tofu scrambled ‘eggs’ for brunch to Beetroot ‘steak’ for lunch, it’s an all-day vegan affair at Bill’s this month.

Taking a break from the booze?

Overdid it a bit with the booze over the festive season? There’s plenty of Dry January options at The Yards! Check out Hawksmoor‘s non-alcoholic cocktail menu – it’s packed with refreshing, satisfying and guilt-free tipples. Our pick of the bunch is the ‘Sour-Cherry America(no alc)’ – made with Hawksmoor’s house preserved cherry juice.

Bill’s is really delivering on your New Year’s resolutions; as well as their vegan food menu, they’ve got a huge list of low or non-alcoholic drinks to keep you hydrated and healthy throughout January. Try the ‘Rooting for You‘ juice for maximum antioxidant power and banish those post-Christmas blues.

Want to get moving?

Exercising more is one of the most popular New Year’s resolutions, so if you’ve promised to get moving more in 2020, why not try something that feeds your mind as well as your body? Head to urban yoga studio Yogarise at 13 Mercer Street for a diverse timetable of yoga, Pilates and meditation classes.

Plus, take advantage of their January sale – bag a 6 or 12-month membership and get extra weeks for free, all at a reduced price. Every little helps in January!

There’s also a new weekly Vinyasa Flow yoga class on Saturday mornings at Pineapple Studios, in addition to their many dance and fitness classes that are open to beginners. You can pick up some new gear at Pineapple’s shop on Mercer Walk too.

Don’t forget to treat yourself!

The key to keeping resolutions is rewarding yourself, and where better to relax than Relax? Head to our resident urban spa on 7 Mercer Street for a massage. Swedish, deep tissue, sports…take your pick!

temper has the perfect offer this month (if you’re not doing Dry January…) They’re giving a complimentary carafe of wine to every couple that dines in January from Monday to Wednesday – yes, free wine! – so bring along your date or mate and start 2020 off right.

If you make and break resolutions every year, make 2020 the year you keep them. With restaurants and retailers at The Yards Covent Garden getting in the New Year swing of things, it’s never been easier.
