Stanfords are getting involved with The Yards and The Bees! Head in store to see their range of bee books, posters and other bee-themed items now available.

Bees have been around for a long time – 130 million years! Today there are 20,000 species on the planet. You can learn all things bees, from evolution, to honey, and conservation, with the beautifully illustrated The Little Book of Bees.

Fancy taking up beekeeping yourself? Start with a copy of The Idle Beekeeper. It’s the definitive guide that teaches you everything you need to get started, even in a city, and without effort.

As well as books, you can bring some beautiful bees into your home with this mug and tea towel set or this unique print, perfect for framing or as gift wrap. Browse the full range at Stanfords – available for delivery or collection now.

A third of the world’s food production relies on bees and they’re also crucial for the preservation of biodiversity. We’ve partnered with charity Bee Friendly Trust to raise awareness of the importance of protecting these hard working pollinators.
