Vegetables take pride of place at Bombay-inspired Dishoom Covent Garden, who serve up a full plant-based menu alongside its regular offer. Kick start the day with ‘The Vegan Bombay’ fry-up or the freshly baked vegan sausage naan roll. At lunch, and later, try the chole puri curry or a for something a little lighter, opt for the kala ghana salad. Finish off with the tasty kala khatta gola ice in kokum syrup, washed down with a warming oat milk chai.

The menu at Bill’s Covent Garden is overflowing with vegetarian and plant-based goodness. Over half of its breakfast menu is meat-free such as the grand ‘Garden Plate’ which also has a vegan alternative. For lunch, enjoy dishes such as the spicy falafel bowl or beetroot wellington alongside a selection of sides. You won’t be disappointed when it comes to dessert, tuck into the truly decadent salted caramel and chocolate tart, served with coconut ice cream.
Modern kebab house Maison Bab Covent Garden serve several flavourful meat-free starters and sides including the chipotle tahini broccoli and hummus topped with peanut curry pesto and flatbread. For mains, the vegan Sabich is a winner; a spiced roasted aubergine with house chilli sauce, peanut pesto and foragers mix served on a crusty house made pitta.
